So about that major surgery...

Yeah... due to having more than one infected tooth, surgery has been cancelled.
I have to get my teeth taken care of first in order for them to go through with surgery. This could take weeks if not months to finish and then it has to coordinate with the surgeon and hospital schedules...
Something told me in the back of my mind that the breast surgery was just too unreal. The more I made plans for it, the more unlikely it was going to happen kind of a self fulfilling prophecy thing. (I've mentioned that before...)
The dentist wasn't clear enough that I had more than one tooth that needed to be worked on and that would cancel my other surgery. He just gave me the impression that I had a lot of teeth that needed fixing. The nurse even said that the work that was needed later would depend on the after surgery treatment I would be getting.
So, after talking to the two surgeons offices it's pretty much up to the dentist to get my teeth done as fast as possible. 
Who knows how far the cancer will be by then! Sheeesh!  That's what's worrying me, its already been two months since it was discovered... is no one else in a hurry to get this taken care of?
What if my tooth hadn't abscessed and they went ahead with the surgery? I would have gone into surgery without anyone the wiser and likely have come out just fine.
I've had these rotten teeth for years and only now it rears it's ugly head to delay something else that is more life threatening?
This isn't a matter of bad timing, this is more of divine intervention of some sort.

Dentist just called and we scheduled to have the other FOUR teeth dealt with next Monday. If I was feeling particularly anxious about getting it done they could try to find an oral surgeon... but that throws everything up in the air.
I am going to be a wreck. Going to be? Already there... this has been the year of medical calamities for our family.
I will not be eating anything solid for the next few weeks.
It sounds like my out of pocket for having the four other teeth done is $128.
Which I do not have at this time. I will have to talk to them about a half payment then and the rest on next Friday when I get paid.
I need to get more details on whether just getting the teeth pulled is sufficient to have surgery scheduled or they need to be finished off before surgery.
Oh, and I haven't paid storage yet, which I don't have money for and will be overdue by the 10th for an extra $20. Have to call them too. I already called work and told them surgery is cancelled until further notice.

There's the old adage about coincidence.
First time is accident, second time is coincidence, third time is enemy action. In this case, divine intervention I think is more appropriate.

Oh and did I mention my car is about to fall apart? The power steering is going out, I need an oil change, and possibly other work done as well so it doesn't explode.
Lord knows how much that will cost! It'll likely give up the ghost in the next week or so, throwing a monkey wrench into the mess of my current situation already.
And I still haven't paid the registration.
