I woke up around 6:30 am to use the bathroom and fed Rocky, Jon got up and I went back to bed. Didn't wake up until after 9 when he came in to wake me to make sure I got my morning meds. Spent the next half hour coughing. Yes, still have that cough but I suspect it will be alleviated once I get the different inhaler but that won't happen until next week.
So he cooked another pair of scrambled eggs and a piece of toast but because I was exhausted from coughing and wasn't that fully awake I wasn't that hungry. I sorted my pills and scrolled the internet and nibbled them down but I finished them. Only had one bite of the toast.
I have said it is a wonderful thing to be able to see all my tests and results and numbers with this medical provider. Provides information I didn't get correct when I asked the nurses and doctors questions or they didn't come back with anything. The initial potassium count at urgent care was 2.6. After ED had given me one unit and some saline, it was up to 3.2. You can't have a .2 so I don't know what the nurse thought I was asking about unless she was typing something and was saying what she was seeing or whatever.
We really need to get to the pharmacy and get some protein/supplement shakes for me but I need to take another shower and still exhausted. Not sure if I could actually drive even to the pharmacy right now. At least the weather is nice, Rocky is sitting in the open window and it's not freezing in the room. I told Jon to scrape the small bits of egg onto Rocky's plate so he could have it but put it in his kibble bowl. Now Rocky is complaining at me that he can't eat his dry food because there's 'foreign bits' in it. Phone was at zero battery this morning so plugged it in and is still recharging as well. Heartrate is strong and regular, oxygen is good.
Oh, I've lost a lot of weight too about 10 pounds since doctor visit on Monday but I can't seem to find a way of tracking that number. I know I was 218 in October, 217 at another visit then 210 I think at another visit and then at the urgent care I was 200.
I'm going to rest for a bit and then ask Jon if he feels comfortable walking to the pharmacy to get a few protein shakes for me. Doctors were rather insistent I needed drink those as long as I wasn't eating a lot of regular food.
