This productive day brought you by friends and family

Car registration is paid and am SO thankful that technology and upgrades to that system now can be done without even going to the DMV. Same location as last time, DMV kiosk inside Vons over in Santee, with only a minor confusion on my part (but not as bad as the lady that was in front of me). Before that went to Costco across the street from there and got gas thanks to Amber. So lunch and productiveness taken care of and the rest of the day is open. I just don't have the energy to do much of anything today.

I was going to stop in the store on the way home and pick up a few vegetable and other supplies for doing tacos and sandwiches but today is a low energy day. General fatigue is a constant due to the one of my meds I'm taking but this is also due to the constant coughing. That will be remedied on Monday hopefully.  Speaking of food sort of, with being off sodas for almost six months, Coke is way too strong for me. I can taste the cinnamon and caramel and sugar in the syrup instead of it all being an amalgam of flavor I've been used to. This is sad, very sad, but I've been meaning to kick that habit anyway. I might get some of the water flavoring again, the black cherry was good and it had caffeine so will have to see.

I was FREEZING night before last, I could not get my hands warm, was wrapped up in a blanket and seriously could not understand why I was so cold. Other than it was hovering around 50 outside and about 60 inside. Yesterday I kind of got ahead of the curve, closed the bedroom window early and got my fingerless mitts on so hands were toasty warm. Only annoying when I had to go to the bathroom multiple times and took them off. Well today I made the mistake of opening the bedroom window when we got home because it was stuffy. Forgot about it while we ate and now it is freezing in the bedroom, Rocky is snuggled under my side of the bed covers and Jon is snoring out on the couch. I want to take a nap but it's very inconvenient. I have three shirts on; no sleeve turtleneck, long sleeve shirt then one of my heavier Hawai'ian shirts and my hoodie. My legs are cold still so using my fleece vest on my lap.

Oh something else that's really low level annoying just in our building. Someone has a piece of equipment of some sort that has a low volume thumping sound that is not regular. It'll be regular for about five or six beats then double once then back to regular. I suspect it maybe a heart monitor of some sort but coming through the walls? I first heard it a couple of years ago and apparently because we don't run the AC and fans in the winter it's more obvious when it's quiet. You know that heart thump you get in your ears after you've exerted or held your breath, that sort of thing. I had to ask Jon if he could hear it too so I didn't think I was having a heart attack or something. Just low key obnoxious really.

I think I only have one more payment on the SDGE other than this month but it's a 'catch up' payment. There's $77.58 left on the account and I'm doing $32 so it'll be a little extra next month but hopefully not too much extra and then will be done with all the willy nilly what do I pay this month anxiety. Just the regular tracking of the bill and what it says is what it is.

So that's it for this week, more news when I see my doctor on Monday.  I am so flagged out today. Low spoons day for sure.
