Getting geared up..

Packed one box last night for the con mostly display stuff, have to clear out another box and see if my bead supply boxes will fit in as well. I  might have to do two trips. I plan on having fun, seeing lots of panels about writing and fiction and stuff, and selling lots of stuff too!
Turns out Katie's seminar that she thought she had Saturday morning is next month. Yay!
Anyway...
I gave the doctor the paperwork for disability last week on a Thursday, approx. ten working days for that to filter through, then... I am hoping a check comes in the mail in time for rent.
After the weekend... chemo starts on Wednesday. I will bring my knitting and my ipod fully charged, maybe I'll shop for some more free games or apps. I got the iChemo diary so I can keep track of meds and symptoms. Thanks Talib for telling me about that!
So... something about March coming in like a lion from the song? Yeah, let's hope that by June everything is busting out all over! Right.
I've been spending a lot of time on Second Life in an Avatar role play and been having a blast. It's kind of taken the place of face to face role play I used to do. It's more off the cuff, slightly scripted and a bit more chaotic. But I've made some new friends from all over and even though we likely will never meet (like any other internet friend) we've developed a good friendship based on our experiences in one small area.

Need to get a shower before work today, hop on to SL and see what's happening there and get some more organizing and packing done.
Oh, Devon is going to come over to the fabric store while I'm at work and clean my car out for me. There's a spare tire that needs to be put back in place and all kinds of trash.... get to see him too!

Rather depressing thought but when you do see that gleam it's worth all the other dark times.
