Continuance

I paid for my matching ring and it came yesterday.  Slightly narrower than Jon's and (in my opinion) not as pretty. Different pieces of abalone of course but it is what it is and am thankful and proud that I could pay for custom rings like this.
I have booked a short 'vacation' for us to fly up to Washington for a recon trip. Four days total with two full days to toodle around towns. Evening flight up and back so half a day thrown in there at the end for whatever.
At first I thought we were going to need the Real ID for flying but turns out that won't be needed until next year. I went ahead and paid for a copy of my birth certificate since I lost mine long ago. The next step is to get a copy of my marriage certificat and divorce papers if I can't find those in storage. That is going to be needed when we get around to marrying.
My wrist is mostly healed, there's an extra large bump on the left side just under the normal wrist bump but the doctor says that will eventually regrow and fill in. It gets achey if I'm typing too much or I have to water using a hose at work. That will get better with time as well.

We are slowly making progress on fixing up various things around the condo for Sandy. Haven't heard a peep from Trista on our end of course. She is now relegated to the occasional anecdotal comment about things she did or the way she acted.

We are happy and continue on. Jon got to meet Ava's boys Andrew and Wesley and is still loving Ava and Amber. We're all planning on meeting up for 4th of July even though I have to work earlier in the day. It's going to be a lot of fun (that's the plan at least.).

Other minor things going on but it's late right now and wrist is getting annoyed. Hope to have more interesting things to update soon.
