Third hotel and it's getting frustrating

We stayed in California Suites for a few days and the room was pleasant enough, had a 'kitchenette' meaning we had a microwave and mini fridge. When I took to Expedia when they asked how our experienc was I mentioned the wifi issue, the air conditioner being old and outdated and not needing a 'card' as the receptionist had said they got back to me the next day about fixing what was wrong. Oh yeah and the tv had only one channel and it was in Spanish. They said it was not connecting to Direct TV and when it did we got basic channels, no cable.
So we chose to go across the street to Motel 6 (anyone who has lived or driven through Clairemont knows where these places are).
We have great internet now but no fridge or microwave so the leftover milk and three microwave breakfasts now have to be trashed.
I can't afford anything over $75 which would give us the best of both worlds. Also distance is a factor.
And when it rains it pours. My check engine light came on three days ago and since it was the middle of my work week the best I could do is take it to the oil change place and have them do a code check. They found two codes so now I am taking it to a mechanic tomorrow to the tune of $150 to have them find out exactly what is wrong.

Still nothing on the permanent living situation.

The COVID-19 situation is making it frustrating at work and how we handle things. Traffic is light, people are stressed out and the whole hoarding thing is getting out of hand. We don't have the luxury of being able to get supplies and cook at home. Since restaurants are closed or limited access we can only do drive through or delivery. Tried to order 5 Guys on my phone and it was too frustrating so we opted for drive through Subway.
I had to move money from the paypal account to my main account to have funds for the car, gas (which thanks to Costco didn't gouge too much) another week of lodging and food. Hoping the car repair doesn't cost too much.

I really wish I had my jewelry to work on or at least some knitting.
I love Jon dearly and would fight tooth and nail to protect him and he'd do the same for me. But sitting in the same room while he listens to Tom Jones or watches a movie about Johnny Cash can be rather...distracting?

I want a house in the hills, simple things like that where we can have our own rooms and still be together.
A small house perhaps, electricity, good wifi and cable channels. Two or three bedrooms, a small yard maybe a deck...it's a dream I have and I'm sticking to it.

Sans Domicile out for the night.
