It's been over a month since I noticed the diarrhea was constant, it has now been almost a week on the imodium and I am either constipated and crampy or the other direction. I'll be contacting my doctor tomorrow with an update. I haven't been taking the med exactly as prescribed but have only missed the overnight doses and not taken it when there's been no activity. I just checked and there is no side effect like this listed for my exemestane so I'm hoping they want to see me soon ish to figure out what exactly is causing it. I am constantly noting times and types and some food notes for future reference for doctors. I just checked side effects of my cholesterol med and there it is, can cause nausea, diarrhea or vomiting. So that's something I need to contact my other doctor about since I started that two months ago and this has been going on for a month. So definitely will be contacting her about it and ask to stop taking it.
Other than that nonsense, which is pretty much constant now, I fixed an absolute bang up turkey dinner for just Jon and I. Thanks to Margaret who dropped off everything we needed for the meal. Before picture, slathered with unsalted butter, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and extra sage tossed in. No stuffing on inside but put in a small onion cut up, orange pieces but should have been lemon, and a few tablespoons of butter. Slid some pieces of garlic under the skin on the breast and away it went.3 ½ hours at 325 was perfect. I made stovetop stuffing with sauteed veggies mixed in and didn't need to add in any extra seasoning since it was already turkey flavored. I even made the gravy from scratch and that turned out perfect as well! Mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus with butter and garlic (forgot to add the lemon juice in that but oh well). Only thing missing was dessert. There's no room in the fridge for a pie though so that will happen another day.
There is enough food to last us for days. We just had turkey sandwiches today after going out and getting a head of leaf lettuce (almost $3 a head!) and some sourdough sandwich bread. It was delicious of course and I have bones and broth and all the supplies for doing a good turkey soup stock. As soon as I have an appropriate amount of energy for that sort of thing.
That's basically it, wonderful dinner, continued uncomfortableness and the weather is typical true fall, rainstorm, cold, partly cloudy, all that.
Uptdates as they happen as always, stay safe and warm.
