The so-called knitting party was like any other party I plan. A bust. Only two people could make it and one of them had to leave early because of another last minute commitment.
Yay.
At least I got to bbq on Memorial Day. Being close to the coast like I am, and this time of year it's overcast until around one and then it's only clear and sunny for a few hours and then the fog moves in again and it's windy and overcast.
I'm getting the writing bug again but no opportunity to write yet unfortunately. I came home and had to ready for friends and dinner and then when I finished with that, ran an errand out and when I came back Dan and Amber were watching a movie in surround sound which means it was WAY too loud for this tiny apartment. Especially since one of the side speakers is right above the computer. Even with headphones on and telling them to turn it down, it was difficult to think.
so... now Devon is home, the Danber is out but they asked nicely for us to watch Ava. (The last blow up kind of rammed it home that they need to ask first and let us know what's going on. We'll reciprocate the action as well if something comes up.)
Might do some jewelry and packing since Devon wants to get on the computer now. Getting tired too. whoof. Busy day.
