I have a stomach ache

Now, normally I wouldn't write about something like this but this isn't any normal type of issue.
I've had this twice before, and only in the past nine months or so.It feels like my stomach was being or had been punched. There is also kind of cramping in my back kind of like a direct hole from front to back. The first time this happened it woke me up in the middle of the night and kept me up for two and a half hours. The second time only lasted for an hour. This one started Sunday just after work and was bad enough I didn't want to eat anything, let alone stand and cook. It might be back related, or something else. It still feels kind of achey so I had to beg out of going to a knitting potluck tonight.
My medical insurance just switched over so I have to wait for the medical card to come in the mail before making an appointment with the doctor, by then it will be gone and only a memory. I'm wondering if it has to do with taking vitamins..... interesting.
Just thought I'd throw that out into the ether and see if anyone else has had similar symptoms.
