to see the doctor Thursday morning and just realized.... we just changed coverage at work and I don't have my ID card yet. Dangit. If I cancel, that means I have to pay them $25 for a cancellation in less than 24 hours. I suppose I can reschedule...
I am feeling better, watching how much I eat and what I eat. Was able to eat a hamburger with minimal discomfort by spacing it out in small bites. I don't know if I'll get to see the doctor tomorrow if I don't have any form of ID to show my new coverage. Another matter, I don't know if the lady that's in charge of changing addresses got my new address. I am hoping that with all the new paperwork that I filled out the new address and that's where the card is going. The mail box is shut down and any mail that goes there is in limbo.
The post office won't forward mail from a box at places like UPS... I would have to pay extra for them to forward it for 30 days. That's up as of a week ago so I have no idea what's going on with my mail.
Everything I've filled out in the past few weeks has been with my new address.
Fixed myself a 'Cup o noodles' for dinner. Katie just got back from seeing Ironman 2 and she thought it was 'f-ing awesome!!!'. I have suggested a few times to watch the first movie but she wasn't impressed. Oh well. In this case, the sequel outdid the first movie for her.
Well lo and behold! I just checked the mail and what is in there? My Blue Shield card! And I was trying to get out of a doctor visit... what a coincidence! (Yes I checked the mail at 11 at night because I just asked Katie if she had checked it and she hadn't been home most of the day.) And smart company... they sent two copies. I'm keeping one in my file box and one in my wallet. Because I didn't specify a doctor there's a different doctor name on the card, but that's fixable.
So I'm off to Blue Shield website to register and correct that.
I haven't had any caffeine in over 24 hours and am buzzing like I just had a coke!
