Prayers and good thoughts

to my brother Talib/Paul). He has had a high fever and mild back pain for two weeks and they are finally putting him in the hospital for 48 hour observation and tests. According to Olivia, his wife, he has had 'kidneyish' pain. This is not good and I'm thinking positive thoughts for him.
Talib is my older brother by only two years. He and my younger brother, Bart who is two years younger were my closest brothers. We spent many days exploring canyons, making forts, having grass bomb fights and generally spending a lot of time together. That was when we were kids, but he has helped me through some tough spots as an adult and I refuse to entertain any thoughts at this time of not being able to see him again.

As for me....
The doctors office called with an automated message about getting a colo-rectal cancer screening. That must be the 'additional tests' that the nurse was talking about. Eeewww! Hoping that they don't want anymore than a stool sample at this point. Since they left the number for the lab, I suspect that's what it is. Have to call on Monday to see what they need me to do. I hate to think that the issues I've been having are that severe.
The sonogram did find some gall stones so here's hoping that's all that's been giving me issues.
Other than that, things going along, feeling creative for jewelry and gearing up for baby things for Amber and my coworker.

Again, I'm thinking of you all the time Talib.... get well!
