Two posts in one day!

That's because there's not much else to do.
Actually, I got a call from radiology about my appointment on Thursday. Standard procedure for biopsy, no blood thinners 5 days before, wear a loose, button up shirt, have someone drive you... and then.... a small, tiny ray of hope.
They'll be doing a sonogram first to pinpoint the spots the MRI picked up, at that point, the doctor will make a decision whether they are big enough to warrant a biopsy. I asked the nurse if she knew how big they were and she said she didn't know. So... if the spot(s?) are not big enough, then I don't get a second biopsy. BUT... if they are, they'll proceed with the shot and numbing and etc...
In my mind, I'm now thinking.. so if they aren't big enough to be noticed by the x-ray but were picked up on the MRI, then... how big are they? And I'm using plural for some reason because I got that impression when the surgeon first called me. It may just be one.
Anyway, so... the surgeon when he did the exam didn't seem to notice anything either... so crossing fingers... PUHLEEEASE have the second one(s) be small and not go through another biopsy.
Then this also begs another question, if, by some wild imagination I just have a lumpectomy...what about those other spots? Will radiation take care of them? Chemo?
These and other burning questions will have to wait for answers until Friday or Monday next.
And other things that happen Friday: Amber has her perinatal appointment, which might mean another ultrasound for her, and possible.... genders? Also Devon has his first Probation appointment/interview Thursday.  His is at 10 downtown, Amber's is at 11 (don't know where) and mine is at 3 downtown (different area) and of course, this also means that I have to watch Ava again with Devon. No big thing but I'm broke and so are they. I have to borrow money again from next paycheck (luckily rent is paid) so I have money for the trolley ride for two of us and some small cash for food until Friday.
So everything will happen on Thursday with me the only one waiting for news and results.
I would like to highly recommend Sharp Reese-Stealy for medical care. They are fantastic! The radiology people send a thank you card to each patient and remind them to fill out the survey card when it arrives in the mail. This is not some typewritten letter, it is a folded card with the Medical center title on it, printed on the inside but ... three nurses hand sign it. I love it.
Thanks to Chrissy for the card, and Kiri for trying to help me with a replacement for my necklace. Thanks to all of you who read this and keep me in your thoughts.
No matter where they come from, and even if I don't follow your particular choice of religion, any positive energy is appreciated and accepted lovingly.

And now, The Quote:

The best and safest thing is to keep a balance in your life, acknowledge the great powers around us and in us. If you can do that, and live that way, you are really a wise man.
   -Euripides

(now obviously being a Greek, Euripides didn't talk like that, but translating from Greek would be difficult and not make as much powerful sense.)
