I haven't been able to pay my registration again, so it's two months behind and I got a ticket on my car window while visiting at Amber's yesterday.
I didn't notice the ticket and little yellow envelope until I was driving down the ramp onto the freeway. Doing 60. Great. So what was I supposed to do? I had to drive the speed limit on the freeway and watch as first the little yellow envelope flew away and then the white notice finally took flight and scattered to the wind among all the other cars.
::sigh::
I'll get the notice in the mail, pay the $25 or whatever it is and try to gather the money to pay registration.There are some previous tickets attached to the registration fee, that's why I haven't been able to pay it. Story of my life with cars. It's also falling apart and badly needs a tune up and some other work done on it. Which, once again, can't afford. I'm going to check my bank balance now to see what I can afford this month.
They need to make it so people can do partial payments online. I can afford the fines, or the registration but not both.
Otherwise, I'm in a holding pattern still. It's getting hot, and muggy which means September and October are going to be Summer weather. Okay, need to get a shower before work.
