Well, so far so good.

No real news to report, on a personal level it's been relatively quiet. Except I got my hair cut!  I was looking like a shaggy dog, and it is starting to warm up so I needed it cut.
It's similar to my Facebook profile picture, maybe a bit shorter but mostly about the same.
Other than that, no revelations, no calamities... my car really needs to get into the shop but that has to wait until Wednesday when I have time to take it in. Of course, that also depends on what happens on Monday.
I'm in the 'waiting for a phone call' mode which won't come until Monday. Then... it's 'brace for impact!'. Surgery is inevitable, how much is what I'm waiting to hear about.
On the entertainment front, I am a big Avatar fan (Cameron's) and always felt there was a lot missing from the movie about character development. As long as it was, there was still a lot I knew that had been left behind. What we have seen is fantastic, but ... it was lacking. Well, there is going to be a re-release at the end of this month with 9 extra minutes of footage that they left out. Fantastic! It opens on August 27, which I hope to be in good enough condition to go see. Here's the other kicker, he's writing a novel form of the first movie. YAY! That means even more character development and more detail about the world and universe, characters and... stuff.

Okay, so that's great news for me on an artistic level, the book may not be out until end of this year or early next year.
Oh and I said 'first movie', yes, if you didn't know already he has two more planned as a trilogy. That's going to be really interesting to find out where he goes with the characters and the story.
So.... as I said, not much else to report so far. I'm in a creative mood so I might just go do some more editing/writing on my fantasy story. (Can't do anything about my B5 story dangit.... )

I beg to differ on that!  Wisdom and an organized life don't necessarily go hand in hand... I'm a good example of that! Scatterbrained but can give you advice based on my experience in several areas.
Bah... Wisdom can be found at any age. Just a matter of the perspective and experience.
