More news for me...

I finally got the mail and discovered the paperwork for my gall bladder surgery. It's scheduled for Feb 2 at 1:30. Just checked the calendar and my 'two week' appointment is the day after surgery. Umm, I think I'll be seeing him before that. Again with the surgery, nothing to eat the night before is even more critical given that they're messing with my digestive tract now. I'll be out for a week after that and hope to be back to work in about 7 to 10 days according to the literature.
Then... the oncology appointment. That will be the next big news on what they will be using, side effects, etc. Great that appointment is almost a week after the surgery and then.... scheduling the next appointment with breast doctor for the last surgery in that area. Man it's getting really tight! the Oncology appointment is almost two weeks before the con I'm selling at. I really really hope I'm not going to be out of it.
Just when I think I'm getting my first break in selling my jewelry all this happens!
(Olivia... thanks!)
I'm giving a talk tomorrow at a local garden club meeting, oddly enough at a church that Amber used to to go AA meetings at. I totally know what it looks like and the parking situation around it. Very weird.
And speaking of Amber, they boys and her are doing fine still. I hope to see them again on Wednesday or Thurs. depending on my work schedule at the fabric store. I'm working in the morning/afternoon now on Wed. and variable on Thurs. so I don't know what time I'll be free.
So odd, yesterday I didn't have any caffeine at all and didn't get to sleep until 1:30, today I had some early in the day and now I'm totally ready for bed at 10:15.
Well, let's see, covered Amber, me the babies, me, Amber... yep, that's about all I have to report for now. As far as I know Devon is doing okay, I have to actually call him to check on him instead of him checking in as usual. He doesn't feel the need to check in I guess. He's feeling 'grown up' I suppose, but more likely he's just doing whatever he wants. I still nudge him at least once a week he hasn't even seen the babies in person yet. Have to drag his butt over to see them this week.

Okay that's it for now. I'm getting tired and really need to get to bed so I can get up early enough to get breakfast. Cereal. yay. 4 more weeks and we'll see if I'm up to eating real food again.

I know all about that, gave my book to a friend to read and he gave me some excellent pointers on his impression of the story. Overall, even in it's rough state, he liked it. Which is great! yay! I might even bring a chapter to the con..if I go.
::sigh::
