Best description I can make for the flavor is if you took lemon hint water to make lemonade but used salt instead of sugar. I luckily found a Star Wars tumbler from a set I got for Christmas that is the perfect size.
Up in the left corner of that picture on the glass is some lines, that first short horizontal line is 8 oz exactly. The set was from the first sequel, there is the trooper, Kylo Ren, Capt Phasma and a trooper helmet I think I was put out that villains was all they had. Katie bought them for me for Christmas years ago. Looking online it looks like someone may have switched out some of the glasses because there are no pictures of just villains. I sucked that down as fast as I could and then put the glass on the counter. I told Jon the flavor was like lemon pie with salt instead of sugar and barely any lemon. He cringed but then he was in the kitchen cleaning up after his dinner and started making noises and acting like he had hurt himself. Apparently he decided to try the little bit that was left in the glass, well now he knows how nasty it is. 'That's what I have to look forward to?' Only if the doctor seriously recommends it hon. I'm doing it for that reason otherwise I would be having actual food.
Yep, it's that bad. Take the glucose slurry for the diabetes test, change out sugar for salt and less citrus. When people say the prep is the worst part I believe them now, I just thought it was all the super pooping that was involved. Starting to get a headache from coughing and the salt. This is going to hit me real fast since it's the only thing I've had all day other than powerade and water. Oops had half a banana this morning before I realized my itinerary for today. Given my system it will be out of there in no time.
I have been sitting at my desk all day, cough has been mostly quiet until about an hour ago just before the sun went down. I suspect it's mostly a reaction to being colder so my chest is sort of spasming and I haven't had any solid food for 24 hours. I had chicken noodle soup last night and that was the closest to solid food.
5 more minutes for the third glass, then one more after that. Going to be a fun time in the old town tonight for sure.
