Everything went fine..I forgot to mention some small diarrhea issues with the doctor so she says I'm doing great. Which I am, I can deal with minor discomfort like that by changing my eating habits. Weight is still hovering under 170 which is good, but want it about five or so pounds less ideally. No one mentioned anything about that, as long as I'm not dropping weight like a diver going down...I'm okay. I didn't get my 'booster shot' last time, Nulasta which is a white blood cell booster. As a result it was low this time, 2.5 which doesn't mean anything to me so I asked the nurse and they said that getting down that low isn't good. Didn't give me a 'good range' which was a bit annoying, so I have to go in today and get the subcutaneous shot. Ick. Going to use the lidocaine cream two hours ahead this time. It didn't do much good an hour ahead yesterday and the nurse said to put more on a little longer. Alrighty then, since this is a much more painful shot in the back of my arm, going to lather up and patch it good. Crossing fingers.
Other than that, slightly queasy, and I got my first nurse this time around and mentioned the nasal issues the second time and she said they pushed it time wise. They did it in a half hour instead of an hour like the first time. She slowed it down on this pass and only a slight stinging. Makes a big difference!
It's beautiful outside... sunny, no fog (was very foggy yesterday morning but cleared) so here's to a great spring weather day...that I have to spend most of in the fabric store.
Oh well, hoping tomorrow will be just as pretty and can enjoy it outside.
That's the update for today, not much else to report, oh the nurses said the hair coming back is slower than going out of course so I should have a good head of hair by October. It will be a year in September if I'm not mistaken since my diagnosis so not so bad a track record.
Have to remember to bring some green earrings for my nurse. She noticed the ones I had in (copper and green) and said, 'Ohh I like green...' well there ya go..I'll have to bring some, oh mentioned also making custom ID bracelets and she said it was a great idea, especially if I can make them for cheaper than what's offered in the catalogues. Just have to have people send me the plate part or their bracelets and have me disassemble them.
Anywho... almost 8 am, still need a shower, get the patch on, then hoof over to the hospital and then off to work.
Doanwanna...buthafta....ohwell. hehehe.

Who'd have thought that gem from someone who named their first kid, 'Moon Unit."?
