An extension on the electric situation

I was able to get on the website for SDGE and choose a date to delay payment. For whatever reason I only chose Monday the 18th. I also  noticed that the bill was over $400 less than it was before so that 'Neighbor to Neighbor' program may have kicked in sooner. So it's only $1238  or something like that and my more current overdue is only about $400. So it's not indefinite but at least we have a reprieve.

There was supposed to be a food distribution in our complex today but got a call this morning from the lady that organizes it. Someone got to (where ever) the location is and got the food that was supposed to be for us. The manager/organizer of the distribution location is working on a solution. There are other seniors in our complex that are even worse off than us and absolutely need that food. We haven't gone back to the Salvation Army because that's essentially the same thing we're getting (or worse) from here. Yes I realize any food is better than nothing but when they give you five tiny fingerling potatoes and a pound block of fake meat.... honestly. At least here they just lay everything out for us to take whatever we need/want.

Jon gets money this weekend Have to divvy that up between rent and both our storages and one or two smaller bills. Car insurance and my phone are paid putting a ding in the rent and storage payments. Will see what happens with Jon's money. Here's hoping next month with him getting paid sooner and we both get about $50 more a month which will help.

When life provides lemons, one makes lemonade. These are from the lemon 'bush' in the garden area. I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do with them other than make lemonade.
