It's been kind of blustery all day, and just now I took Ava outside to the corner to watch the Sea World fireworks and holy @#$%^& it was cooolld@ Good god! She had a long sleeve sweatshirt type dress and pants, and I had a sweater and slip on shoes (she had shoes too). It's taking all my force of will not to use four letter words to describe how cold it is. The weather ticker says 55, but the wind chill is about 30. My ears were hurting by the time we got back inside. We stood between a mailbox and the light pole at the corner, but holy moly the wind was whipping around! We ran all the way back to the apartment and man it felt good to get inside!
Geeez!
Reason #435 for staying in San Diego. : This kind of weather is very unusual, not the norm for winter.
... that was exhausting!
Tomorrow I have to do my taxes before midnight. I have no money to pay them, so I'll likely just print up the forms and send them in. Give the IRS and the state an IOU. What else is new... I don't have enough money at the beginning of the month to pay rent and my bills. According to the county I make too much to qualify and yet, I am always broke. To give you an idea, I spent $85 on groceries just in one trip last month and that was the bare necessities. The extras between this month and last month... two skeins/balls of yarn and two strands of beads. A total of less than twenty dollars. Everything else was food, gas and that's it.
Okay, kind of have a headache from the cold..going to go get some water and go to bed.
