Taxes are done

They are being filed online at least. In addition to having to pay $1136 to the Feds and 137 to the state, I have to pay the stupid site I went through $70. I could have sworn I did it for free before, but I think that was based on forms I had to file.

I handed in half my rent today. Two weeks late and half is not there. I will let everyone know if I get handed a move out notice. This is the latest it's ever been and since Devon's money dropped off, I've rarely been on time with the full amount. I don't know how much more they're going to trust me to pay the rent. With all the other stuff I'm supposed to pay on, bankruptcy is looking better and better.
This is getting depressing enough to want me to quit everything now and disappear. I have $25 in the bank right now and get paid on Friday. But 99% of that goes to rent..where the rest is going to come from to pay the taxes I have no clue.
I checked the box saying I'd send a paper check for the owed taxes. I leave it up to the government to send me the appropriate paperwork to get on a payment plan.

I was talking to a customer acquaintance at work today and she asked why I don't move in with someone. She doesn't seem to realize that I have dependents still hanging on and it would be the same problem all over with trying to qualify for rent.

There's all kinds of mail and papers strewn all over the floor after I had to hunt down my W2 and 1099 again. (I had a half hour to spare before the midnight deadline).
Any ideas on getting caught up would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to work on my story some more to try and get that published or close to it. I submitted an ad banner to someone's blog site to try and get some more advertising done for my jewelry.
You know, most people who get into tight financial trouble usually have some old jewelry to sell or some stocks or whatever. I have squat. No old jewelry, no hidden box of treasures, I'm down to bare walls and considering selling my doll collection. We still have that box of paper dolls that Debbie gave me, but I'd rather give that back than sell it.

Seriously. I told Amber that the best I could come up with at this point was selling the car. Good that will do .. maybe I could get $1000 if I don't mention it has a radiator/oil issue.
Why do all my cars end up with that problem?

I figured out that I have enough money in my paypal account to list another twenty jewelry items or so on etsy. If I get a few dollars more in there, I can list even more. (It costs .20 to list items on etsy for sale. That's cheaper than ebay and their 'comission' is less also.)

I got a ham bone from a coworker that still had some good chunks of ham on it today. Yay! Going to cut as much ham off it that I can and maybe use it for some soup. I'm the only one that will eat it, but at least it's more food in the house!

Okay, it's getting chilly again and my neck is still bare to the room. Time to head off to bed and hope for a better tomorrow. (what commercial was that from?)
