I'm giving up.

I am tired of struggling with the rent and trying to make the money just magically appear and ending up behind on all my bills.
I'm going to be filling out the form to give a 30+ day notice and plan on moving out sometime after the first of May. It's been a losing battle since Devon lost his monthly SS support money.
I still haven't come up with the remainder of the rent for this month, I don't know where it's coming from since it's over $700 at this point. I get an extra paycheck in May thankfully but that's not until the middle of the month.
I was looking at Craig's list and saw a couple of houses in East County that were bigger than this in footage with a yard that were half the price. Foreclosures are working with me on this swing of the economy. It would be a longer commute than I've ever had to do (flowing with the commute in both directions unfortunately and a half hour ride) .

The drawbacks are, Devon's entire social network is over here in Clairemont as well as his job (two days a week if you call it a job) and school of course when he starts in the fall. But there are other colleges he can go to elsewhere, he'd just be losing his friends.
His only other option is couch hopping with his friends and find a better paying job.
Amber has other friends she can stay with, and she's still not sure if she's going up to Tahoe in May anyway. I told her that if she's staying down here, she has to start looking for alternate income and a place of her own to live in.
I'm just tired of the constant budget struggle and with the added taxes that are due, I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.
With the weather warming up, if I can't get a place I can sleep in my car and do the occasional hotel room. I need to save my money at this point in order to get into a new place. No way to do that unless I don't spend my paychecks except for food and gas for the next month.
So... that's it.
I have tog o find the paperwork for the lease and see what the fine print is on ending the lease before its end.
Ironically we got a flyer from the office that next week is Resident Appreciation week with all kinds of goodies and treats at the front office. Yay.

Oh, and the computer screen is dying faster now. There's a glitch every once in a while even as I'm typing and you have to bang on the top of the case in order for it to come back. Sometimes that doesn't even work and I had to shut it down the other night and it came back on then.

On the good side, Devon went down to the store Friday morning after checking his balance and bought some food for him and Ava. Then later on got some t.p. because we were out. It was very sweet of him and I told him that and thanked him.
Okay, so that's it.
Oh and I put some time on my phone so at least the bill collectors can start calling me again while I'm at work. I can also call potential places on my breaks at work on the weekend.

I'm done.
