I'm speechless. With laughter.

I got home tonight and there was a small green round package on my desk. Hmmph. Had to be from my roommate. Who was sitting at her desk.
I open it and this is what it was.

"A bouncy ball...with glitter inside!!"
I've been laughing a lot lately, it's the flip side of crying. I think I'm going to be carrying that around with me until this ordeal is done. It will sit on my desk while I'm at home, and I will be carrying it in my purse when I'm out. It's a liquid filled ball so the glitter is like a snow globe.
I love it!
Katie has just given me the one anchor to hold me together now. Some people have a song (which I have, sort of), some people have a charm, a necklace, religion...
I have a bouncy ball with glitter.
It makes me smile which is crucial to my well being right now.

Oh, on a side note. I finally did get a call from the next doctor. The breast surgeon office called and we made an appointment for Thursday morning. I'll post the results of that visit as soon as I get to my computer that day. The appointment is at 9:15 so if they want to do something immediately, or I need the day off, I can call my manager at Beverly's and let her know. (Need to call her tomorrow and let her know what's going on as well.)
So... when things happen, they may happen fast.
