I'm still here...

a bit bruised, uncomfortable, but all in all okay.
I don't know what was worse, the actual incision part or the anesthetic shots. The only painful part was he didn't quite get the lidocaine all the way around so one small part is going to be tender a lot sooner. I kept my eyes closed through the whole procedure, I don't like watching stuff like that third hand let alone right in my face. (Not going to mention the small detail as he started that I noticed with detached alarm but would be expected.)
Oh, and I now have a tiny itty bitty piece of titanium where they took the samples so they know they already sampled it when the next mammogram is done.
I have an ice pack held on by a stretchy bandage over tape holding gauze on top of steristrips.
I'll be good for work tomorrow, they said I could take the outer bandages off tomorrow and the steristrips will fall off in about five days. Just not going to be doing any heavy lifting as a precaution, that's my own restriction not theirs.
I'll have my results in about 3 working days, so by Tuesday my doctor will have the written report.
Dang, I forgot to pick up some Tylenol before I left for the appointment. Can't take anything else but that for the pain. I'll walk up to the drug store and pick some up later... as soon as it gets to the point where I'm more uncomfortable than now.

We were all having a good laugh in the car on the way home. Thanks to Peggy, Mary Kay and Kathleen for the great tour of downtown and the traffic there! (told you I'd make a snarky comment)
So I was told to 'go home and rest' and the nurse forgot to give me the 'aftercare' sheet. Darn. Not hard to remember the directions. So relaxing huh... typing on the computer, editing the Avatar slide show I'm making (now I know something of what editors and directors go through to make their projects perfect).
Okay, now I have to dump my bladder seeing as how when I get nervous..I drink a lot of water and my body says 'uhhhh system dump system dump!'.
I'm fine...everyone's fine here... how are you?
