I think I heal fast, or it's just the mouth thing heals fast. I didn't take any pain killers after about 7 last night and only took one around 10:30 today. Not too shabby. Still being careful what I eat, and my mouth tasted like I had been sucking on raw meat all night..but other than that....
Doing pretty good.
I got to go with Amber to her ultrasound appointment yesterday. It was very awesome to be able to actually see 'live' pictures of the babies. They're still doing good, they have to watch the fluid level around baby B, because if it starts to drop too much they have to intervene somehow. They're doing great, Amber on the other hand... she's almost done with the whole thing. Of course. She tried on the dress she wore to her wedding reception and it's more snug now than then. She was four months pregnant when she got married and she's only 20 weeks now.
That's what happens when you have two in there instead of one!
Well, if my teeth hadn't interrupted my schedule I would be in the hospital now recovering from surgery. As it is, we're looking at maybe mid-October, with my luck, probably later.
When I get a solid date I'll check with the dentist and see if there's a way of getting at least half my mouth done to a state where I can chew solid food! I got the most ironic email coupon yesterday.
From Black Angus restaurant. With a wonderful picture of steak, shrimp, green beans, and a baked potato.
Waaahhhaaaaaaa! Just made me want to reach through the screen and pick it up.
Oh well. There will be a time in the near future that will be sitting in front of me ready for me to dig in!
Time to head off to work soon so here's the quote for today from Bill Nye (the Science Guy!):
"Humor is everywhere, in that there is irony in just about anything a human does."
