So far at least. The only way to tell is when they take her off the very slow drip of magnesium and see if the contractions come back. They did a monitoring at 4 and she had two contractions in an hour, which is less than there was before. her blood pressure is good, and they're monitoring her fluid intake and output. So she's going to be there at least until Saturday, possibly get out Friday night...but she won't know until the doctors make the rounds and look at the numbers.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I went out and bought almost everything to do a turkey dinner and will be prepping that tomorrow and Saturday to have it cooking by Saturday. Amber commented that she didn't know whether she would be home to eat it, and I told her that's okay, I'll bring it to her!
Last year on Thanksgiving eve was when I was in an accident and almost totaled my car. No incidents this year other than Amber's situation, I hope this isn't setting a trend.
I was shopping in Walmart tonight with Ava, almost bought about three other things than what I went in to buy (a copy of Kung Fu Panda) and forgot two other things that I did need, (Cereal and an overnight bag for Ava). Oh well. She's spending the night again because Dan has work at 6:30 in the morning and it's just easier if I have to watch her anyway to have her spend the night. That way we get to sleep in and will be going to the hospital to visit Amber when Dan gets off work around 3.
Other than that, moving a little slower due to the doctor 'pumping me up' (hehe) on Wednesday and that muscle being a bit sore still.
Going to be calling the doctor office tomorrow to make appointment for next week and hopefully getting contacted by Oncologist...don't know who it is at this point and they may just be taking their time on it because of waiting for me to heal.
Oh, minor worry on the doctor's part about how part of the incision is healing up, 'bruising' spot is needing some neosporin and extra bandage to get it to look better. Since there are no nerves in that area it's hard to tell whether it's good or bad.
Think I'll hook up the camera and upload some pictures of earrings to sell. No new necklaces because idea in my head doesn't match the beads I have on hand. Thinking of a flame red and orange version but have nothing in that end of the color wheel so have to get it gelled in my head first and know what I'm looking for in order to find it. Obviously I'm NOT going out tomorrow anywhere near a mall or large store. Luckily the bead store I have in mind is kind of off the main roads so if I take the right freeways and surface streets it won't be an issue.
Okay, Ava is watching a movie in the front room, Katie is still at her mom's and I am starting to get tired. Hoping Ava starts slowing down and falls asleep in about an hour then will likely go down myself. But likely not.
