Good news and not so ...

Good news creatively, I finished the Peacock Dreams necklace before finishing the previous one pictured. The summer necklace is going to have to be restrung on stronger nylon thread and have a minor tweaking design wise. Made another trip to the bead store to get some more necessary supplies so both necklaces will be done properly. I only got four photos of the necklace that were good enough to see. Going to try again tomorrow for some other shots with close ups.  It really is better in person than in a photo. Oh, I also made a pair of earrings to match.
(I have these on my Picasa album if you want to see them a little better.)

Now on to the other developments....
The not so good, I think in trying to roll over or shift in my bed the other night I may have done something not so good. When I shifted there was a burning shooting across my back about in line with the incision. Now I've got numbness creeping under my armpit and on the back of my upper arm. It could have been there all along but didn't notice until now due to other muscles being sore.
I did some looking around and this is a relatively common side effect of having the sentinel nodes removed as well as the surgery. It's something that I'll bring up with the surgeon on Thursday. I can lightly massage the areas as that seems to help for a short time according to other women. It does sound like it's not an uncommon issue and sometimes it goes away with p-t. It's not hindering my arm movement at this time, and since I've always had issues with that shoulder muscle being tense which has affected my arm mobility in the past.
Definitely favoring that arm and not doing any heavy lifting and try to be more careful moving around with my back muscles and arms.

Okay, now then..Dude (Devon) is doing the dishes for me and Katie, and I feel the need to go clear off my table so I can finish the other necklace and come up with ideas for another one in green. Not a color in my repertoire but sometimes you need to stretch your creativity in new areas.

"Exit, pursued by a bear." - Shakespeare.

Have no clue what play that is from but... what the heck.
