Alrighty then...

So, as always nothing much to report. Chemo went fine on Wednesday, my 'chemo buddy/transportation' was recovering from a cold so she only dropped me off and picked me up which was okay. I got sleepy enough from the Benadryl that I actually took about an hour long nap listening to some music. I have to bring music with me because there are a number of people that don't use the provided earphones in the infusion center and the varying sounds tend to be annoying. 'Gunsmoke' in one corner, Oprah in another, Spanish station in another... oh well.
I talked to the doctor about what comes next since I only have one more session. YAY! She checked the records and the cancer was progesterone/hormone positive which means I'll be on a five year pill regimen for hormone therapy. Which means... I'm officially in menopause. I already knew that. It will help with the heat flashes though, which will be nice, it's getting rather annoying.
The neuropathy is settling in more with this session, keeping my fingers busy typing as well as with stitching. The toes are feeling weird which is okay, it's not affecting my balance or walking at all.  Other than that... I've been lucky with the side effects. Even the booster shot (Neulasta- WBC booster) was okay since I put on some numbing cream two hours before and put it on a less sensitive spot on the back of my arm.
Creatively, I am playing around with a 3D graphic program called Blender. Why? In Second Life I'm making clothing for people to wear and want to create shapes and plants as well that aren't complicated. Blender is one of the programs that professional graphic artists use so it's got a steep learning curve but with the help of some YouTube videos and about an hour or so a day, I'll get it figured out.  This can also lead to making pictures that I can maybe do other things, like sell them. (Haven't had any more jewelry sales unfortunately.)
I have picked up one of the more difficult cross stitch projects I previously tried to work on. It's just called 'Unicorn' by Theresa Wentzler, done entirely on black even weave fabric (go ahead and google it). When I started the first time, my eyes were better, so it's a bit tougher this time around. Though with the help of a magnifier around my neck and good lighting, it's doing okay. I just started this and only have about a square inch done and it's approximately 11x14 inches. I don't plan on going very quickly with this, but since I have mentioned it here, I suppose I should take pictures of my progress with it.
I finished a small project for Katie, a scarab motif from another design. Absolutely gorgeous if I do say so myself. Pictures to come of that as well.
Nothing much else to talk about, everyone's doing fine, hoping to see the kids this weekend if I have the gas.
So in closing....

Hmm.. right.
