Now and tomorrow!
Despite the rainy weather, I have been sitting inside playing with my PSE9 (Photoshop Elements) and getting all creative and stuff.
Went out with my friend Kathleen last night, went to Salvation Army and found a mens long sleeve striped shirt that's just a tad bit too big but that's okay for $9. Then we went to Souplantation *just* before the family rush.. so by the time we were leaving all the loud, unruly, and crazy families were just settling in. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo since she has a year pass I can get in as a guest. As long as it isn't too blustery and cold. But even so, I haven't been to the zoo since Ava was about 2. A lot has been done there and I want to see the new exhibits and take pictures of weird plants and animals. Yay!
Yes, I got my money this week and paid my bills (one is yet to be paid but it will happen this week) and enough to save to keep me going and then some for the next check and paying rent for next month.
This is the way it should be when I was working full time. Not cut time, not part time but my full 70 some hour paycheck. Oh speaking of that, I got the letter from the IRS saying that indeed they took my refund to pay off previous taxes, which is what I expected and that will likely happen next year as well. But considering how much time I've had off this year so far, there won't be as much coming next year but that's life.
Waiting for Devon to show up, he and I are going to have dinner together and catch up. Silly boy when he said he was going to board down to my place he said he'd call when he gets here. DUH! Just walk in dude, don't waste a call on my phone when you're twenty feet from me! He still has some learning to do. Still no job for him, but he's not alone in that unfortunately, but he's still looking.
Amber and her family are doing fine, the boys are getting to be chubby little guys which is to be expected. She's trying to start them on baby food, they're 4 months old already! I'm thinking, did I start the kids that early on food? She's a smart one and is reading up and asking me questions about stuff. I have no worries about how my girls are taking care of their families.
Next week is my third session... yay getting down to the wire. The neuropathy is barely there right now but if it gets worse I can see how my typing will slow down a bit. The weather is warming up a little after being rainy and blustery the last two days so my hands won't be as cold.
Oh, my ipod issue was something to do with it trying to find a network to connect. I changed one of the settings on my computer for internet and it changed it on the ipod somehow. I had turned it off and thrown it on my bed and when I picked it up a few hours later it was almost dead and it was warm. WTF? I checked the settings and sure enough it was somehow connected to a network somewhere nearby or something. Anywhow that is resolved and it's not using up the battery anymore.
Well Devon's getting here in a few minutes so I'll close this out and get ready. Give my fingers a rest also, did the dishes before starting this post and my fingers are all wrinkledy. (love that word!)

Don't I know it! We're out there because we couldn't get the better paying job!
