Side effects setting in now

First, I took a nap yesterday between eight and ten.. pm. Of course I also got a good nights sleep and slept in after eight which is unusual for me. I stayed up until one thirty or two, took an Alleve and a vicodin and went to sleep. Didn't wake up until around nine this morning with vague numbness in my fingertips and a little lightheaded.  Was a little achey yesterday and thankfully the Alleve works great. Nothing of that symptom yet today but we'll see what happens later. Funny enough, first thing I wanted to do this morning was cross stitch. With mild neuropathy, bad eyesight and no bright sunshine coming through the window.  Go figure. The numbness is mostly in my thumbs right now but I can feel it kind of creeping into my other fingertips. Just have to type slower and be more careful of what my hands are doing.
Having my breakfast of egg sandwich with bacon this morning, but other than sitting at the computer on a dreary day, nothing much else is planned. Katie was supposed to go out with her stepfather and chop down some trees on a property but he cancelled that so... the two of us are just going to be doing not much of anything today.
There's a home craft show up at the fairgrounds... free to get in... $9 to park. Right. Not going to spend that much on parking if it's not entertainment. Not to mention being low on gas and the weather just wants me to stay home today.
Guess this is a short report this time, me and my not so exciting life...once you get past the whole chemo thing and all that...
Wonderful gems from Will Rogers today courtesy of my occasional emails from my boss.

"Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement."
"If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging."

hehehe, that man was a gem.
