I'm writing!

Not just here and on facebook. I'm writing a novel!  I entered the NaNoWriMo and writing the second (or third?) book in my fantasy series.
It's been a hard thing with my schedule to write 1700 words a day, haven't made it sometimes and am behind schedule right now.
I am putting it up on dropbox for safekeeping but can set it so other people can read it if they have that on their mac. (HINT) I'll be putting my first story up there too so if you want to read what I've written and want to make comments let me know!
I've been using a writing program called Storyist and love it. Wish I had found it months before starting. You have the wonderful tools that helps lay out characters, settings, plot points..even a storyboard. It's free for this month for NaNoWriMo but afterword you can get a discount for participating using a code. It's not that expensive to start either so I'll be investing in it when that option comes up.
Other than that, things are still humming along... out of tune sometimes but trying to keep things going.  Bills are getting paid without running out of money too badly, work is still going strong.. oh and I have my 6 month check up with my oncologist tomorrow. I did not set my alarm on the calendar far enough out and had to make some panic calls to work and friends for a ride. I'll be able to make it, and may call in today to see if I can move it to Friday instead.
Okay going to post the link to my story and then get some writing done..getting to an exciting part of my story and want to keep the momentum going.
