Valentines Day... right.

Just a coincidence... nothing happening here, move along.
(reposting here what I put on facebook)
Not all Valentines are for wives, husbands, boyfriends or girlfriends. Kids give valentines to their parents, friends and teachers. Sometimes it is just between two people that truly appreciate their enjoyment of each others company. I want to let all my kids, grandkids and true friends know that I very much appreciate each and every one of you.
Due to the happy coincidence of getting paid this Friday, I will be taking Katie my every suffering and wonderfully creative roommate/sister I nevery had to dinner. Fate (or whatever powers that be) has a way of putting people together that are meant to complement the other.
Happy Valentines to all!

Now that is out of the way...
I finished and sent off my federal taxes last week, waiting until this weekend when I have money to do my state taxes as I usually have to pay on that. I get vacation pay as well as regular paycheck this Friday so we are on a roll. Will be looking into getting my license/ID card straightened out as well as selling my car or getting it fixed. Though selling it is likely the more lucrative option.
Katie and I have signed up to sell at the local scifi Convention ConDor again this year. Will be doing an inventory assessment today and getting things organized as the con is March 8-10.  She's back to school but classes are a bit lighter schedule, work is... work for me. Going to hopefully convince her to print up a few pages of her story and then see about both of us sitting in on a writing workshop. The other is putting a chapter of our books out on our table for the public to view, 'Novel concept that, eh?' hahahha! Maybe put a sign out '2 bits for a bite of story'.
Anyway...
Side note, caught a cold just after Christmas, cough has lingered as it usually does in the winter, health is overall still good. Had routine mammogram last week, no word yet so that means everything is usually okay. Trying to eat healthier, do a bit more aerobic walking and such at work since I don't have the money/time to go to a gym. Katie is going the more drastic route and is on a low carb diet and using her gym membership.

Okay must/need to get laundry done today before work... then on to organizing!

I'm living so far beyond my income that we may almost be said to be living apart.- e.e.cummings
