Okay, restart again.

Meant to post a few days ago but got interrupted, thought it would save as a draft but can't find it.
Time for catching up on my not so exciting life.
Work is plugging along as usual. People are coming and going, tons of coworkers are either having babies or their wife/girlfriends are. A total of four people in my work environment are expecting people between both jobs. That is insane, this isn't even the East Coast where it got horrific storms!
Better get knitting. Still haven't finished the sweater and hat for another coworker for his baby from four months ago.
And that doesn't include the one that's due in the family. Yep, last I heard Kiri is pregnant with her third. Those girls... Amber and Kiri have had this wierd unintentional competition since they were little. Here's hoping she has a girl to balance Amber's 2 boys and 1 girl.
In other news, I had been planning for months to take a week off in June to go see my longtime friend Miki up in Washington state. I chose June because I erroneously heard we had three payweeks this month. In my excitement I didn't triple check the calender or looked at the wrong year or something. When I did, and saw I would  not have the money to make the trip this month, I started crying. Next opportunity isn't until August, so... it is now on the calander for the week of August 8-13. This also means I don't have money to take off any more than a day to walk around ComiCon this year. It would be outside as well if no passes fall into our laps like last year.
Devon and I are still debating the cost of flying vs. renting a car. It almost balances out between the two modes, I just hate flying is all. He now has a bank account and is working off and on with a friend doing duct system cleaning. Under the table pay but it's something, and giving him work experience that may count with an actual company in the future. ::crossing fingers::

As for me, I am slowly but surely losing some weight. Eating better, doing some exercise at work when it's slow but nothing major. Leg exercises, wall push ups and stretching, ten repeats at a time, a few times a day because I eventually want to get back on a bike. I've lost three pounds in two weeks, not as fast as I'd like but hoping it's a steady loss. It's the belly and butt I really need to reduce and that takes some dedicated sit ups and crunches.

Not much else to report really, I looked in my closet the other day and realized how many boxes of plain ornament balls I've got for making beaded covers... need to start whittling that down too. Of the dozen or so ornaments I've done, about half have been given away. No sales to date on those. If I get cracking on them and can get more done I'll see about going to the year round Christmas shop here in town and ask if they will take consignment pieces.
Nothing on the writing front either other than one of Katie's professors read some of her children's pieces and told her to start looking for a magazine to publish them.

Alright, that seems to be it now. Updates as they happen, no news is good news and all that.
