Results from doctor visit and bloodwork on Tuesday

Nothing catastrophic but also not unexpected. Vitamin D is low, cholesterol is high along with blood sugar. I've been sitting on my ass for the last four months or so not exercising, going out very little due to weather and eating the usual stuff. Less sunlight on my skin and a lot less moving around with no change in diet. Did get my flu shot though and oddly enough, no pain or soreness on my arm from that, no mild symptoms at all. My medical record did show I had my Covid shot as well as having covid so yay for that!

So we had Rubio's today and if we go out to the sandwich shop I'll be ordering a salad and not sandwich, limit soda to one a day. Doctors list was more fresh fruit and veggies no animal fat and less processed food. Hmm nothing about exercise which I would say is another factor as well. She should have asked what I was doing for exercise as well but will see what happens. It's going to be 90 today so no afternoon walk. I plan on doing a morning and evening walk around the complex or block depending on weather and mood. I have a sore toe from ingrown corner of toenail in left big toe so not too much walking at this point. Going to see her in 6 months and hope that my numbers are better.

I think I'll have a baked potato with butter salt and pepper for dinner. Water, lots of water.

Still no word from Armstrong so I'm going to say no second interview unless by some miracle they call/ message tomorrow. I expected it but was still hopeful. Even though I figured if I went back to work at this point, I am about 40 lbs overweight and my legs and feet would not be happy carting around 220 lbs for almost 8 hours.

So other than that, things as usual. Just needed to post the update on my health for reference sake. Oh she did contact my oncologist and asked if I should be doing my hrt still and was told no, just yearly exams and mommogram. My oncologist (Dr. Ravindranathan harder to say than oncologist) 'said hi'. Love it! It's wonderful to have doctors that remember me and are showing they care about me as an individual.

As far as I know the kids are all doing okay. Need to check in with Amber about how her full house is going. Now that I said that she'll likely call me within the next few days. That's how it works. I was thinking of Katie day before yesterday and bam, out of the blue she calls me the following morning to catch up on things.

Life continues on hopefully for several more years.
