We haven't been able to go out walking the last two days due to errands and Jon's hip is bugging him from sleeping wrong. Old people problems I know. We will get into it again because we both want pizza and that will be a treat after we go for at least two more walks or losing some weight whichever comes first. ::grins::
I mentioned to him a while back about the B&M Brown Bread in a can and he, once again, said 'I love that too!'. So guess what stores don't carry anymore? Not just that but B&M baked beans. At all. I see Bush's baked beans but nothing much else. Well I found the bread on Amazon of course and so here it is, a double pack because I remember having it with raisins and he didn't.

The one with raisins is dented. |
Came with a small bamboo spreader which is not necessary but still cute. The cans seem to be smaller and I was lucky to find just a two pack because it either came in singles or a case of 12. We don't have room to store that many. Going to have this for breakfast tomorrow with warm butter...yum!
When we went to Costco the other day I saw a box of individual portioned French Onion Soup for only $8. Grabbed it thinking it would be in small microwaveable bowls like the last ones I got. Nope... individual shrink wrapped portions ready to plop in a bowl and put in the oven. Then discovered we have no bowls suitable for cooking them in. Either huge cereal bowls or one soup mug, everything else is in storage. What the heck can't be too hard to go find a set or even two soup bowls at thrift stores. WRong again! Went to two thrift stores and a Big Lots. Nada. I know what I'm looking for and no one has it. Going to look at Target tomorrow and I will be if they don't have it Walmart may well have them. I have a set from my flower dishes in storage but driving out there just to dig out a box of dishes and bring home a few soup bowls? Not worth it.
I really want a place where I have enough room or shelving to have at least two or three sets of dishes so there's a choice for each season. I love stone ware, some of the glaze patterns are so cool! Then there's my flower set that would be for spring and summer, would either get rid of the grey set I have right now or use it for extras.
I wish I had the money so I could be shopping for a new place to live right now because we found a really nice 4br 2ba in a small town in Washington that the only thing it doesn't have is a yard. Everything else is wonderful, updated floors and paint, looks spanking brand new, and and.... sigh. $185k with only a $470 lease for the space.
SIGH. I'm torturing myself I know but have been doing homework heheh... checking my credit score, how much loan we can afford, knowing costs for getting a loan and for moving, we would need a total of about $30k to put money down and have some money to move. They sure are fast to get back to you, I just on a lark filled out info at Rocket Mortgage and no sooner do I hit 'send' a phone call comes in from them. Real person left a message which is frightening. I don't want to waste the time to tell them I don't have money to put down. I'm just trying to find out how much the payments would be if I could put down $15k on a loan of that size, that's all. Real Estate is not a 'window shopping' thing when you want to find out what's involved. Sigh again.
Just a pipe dream I know and if I had anything to do over it would be using part of that $19k from my retirement fund to put down for a home at the time. If I could turn back time.. we would be there already.
Getting depressed now so going to go do something creative. Got more photos to paint so here's the first one:

I'm tempted to make it look even more 'painted' by smudging the clouds more with less details. I've also been looking at costs for doing these as a wrapped canvas and it would cost me close to $50 then have to recoup that cost so roughly $100 to sell a smaller one. Sell digital images is cheaper and risks having the image pirated. I'm continue to research on this because I have about 30 images I could put up for sale, multiple of times and maybe add an option for a wrapped canvas. more on that later.
