First, forgot to mention doctors appointment, which was less than spectacular. Thought she was going to have blood done again but she just asked questions and told her I was trying to be a good girl with eating and exercise. Bad new, I gained 11 pounds since last appointment six months ago. Yikes! I am trying to cut back on sodas and do more exercise out in the garden and walking but I need to go full blown exercise regiment to make up for all the sitting and eating I do.
Other bad news, I can't collect on Dave's ss because I earned more than half of his full amount which is surprising. Since he hasn't worked in the last twenty some years, nothing to draw on I suppose. I can't collect anything extra until he passes away. So as far as income is concerned, unemployment or getting a crappy part time job is about all my options at this point. Or start playing the lottery.
We all know how well that works.
We stay where we are until things change, which they won't very soon. We were $300 short on rent for this month, I am ever grateful that the entire complex is seniors and most are collecting ss which has wacky schedules for paying bills. They all understand but I still don't like being behind too far.
We're almost out of money for this month and luckily only about two weeks away for getting my check again and next month I can try to file for unemployment. Judging from what Jon said, they told him he can't qualify since he didn't work the previous year so since I didn't work all last year, they may not continue it. We're really stuck if neither of us can bring in any extra money. We're looking believe me.
