I was irradiated today-Foot, Knee and hip

I am now fitted with a 'walking boot' pending appointment with podiatrist for a follow up and assessment appointment.  Frankly my left knee hurts more than my foot. Red arrow (I edited to put arrows and squares) points to the break but then I noticed the deposits or something on my big toe knuckle and then my crumpled little toe. Is my big toe metatarsal(?) supposed to look like that? All these and more questions will be asked of the podiatrist who will be calling back tomorrow.

Hip and other knee were fine as far as no bone damage, they only wanted to be thorough because with falls you never know. They gave me a pair of crutches with the boot which is almost redundant with how small our apartment is. I only used the railing to get up the stairs, and yes I took the hard boot off so we could get home then Jon put it back on to get up to the apartment. I'm handling the crutches okay,  I already messaged Amber and she said they will figure out what to do without my rides for the next 4-6 weeks. This makes it problematic for Jon getting to his appointment, me to my appointments and generally being a functional adult.

So I knew it would be involved had hoped to not have a break but with the sound my foot made I knew there was something that happened. Ah well. I need to see if I can change the podiatry office to the closer one than downtown. Not that I'll be driving there but closer is better in my mind. It was likely the only office that had a doctor available sooner rather than later.

Oh and Jon has lost 17 lbs! Cholesterol is down, liver and kidney functions are good, he's down to 201 which I'm sure makes him feel better. I need to get a cholesterol test as well and see if I can get on the same meds.

Okay that was the excitement for today as usual, updates as they happen.
