THANK YOU.
I so much didn't want to whine like that but I only do so in desperation.
I have been having lower leg cramps in my calves and sometimes the shin muscles and feet. Can not figure out what the heck is causing it. I started drinking more orange juice for the potassium, should eat more potatoes and bananas... but then I realized something.
When I was having my gall bladder attacks I would get horrific calf cramps before an attack.
::PING::
I've been eating more greasy stuff and salsa. Heavier foods and not as many veggies and lighter stuff as before. Damn. Going to really watch what I'm eating now because if that's true, I am in the low percentage of people that have had to change what they eat after having their gall bladder out.
I now vaguely remember mom complaining about calf cramps after she had her surgery.
I got all the cross stitch boxes of floss and supplies that I could find in storage and am sorting through it now. Going to get that organized so I can start a project. Lord knows I have almost as much floss as yarn for projects! But you never have ALL the colors you need for the project you have picked out.
The Christmas card projects are still in the works, I'm not happy with the colors they chose but now that I have my color card, I can double check and make sure that the ones that I think are the right colors are what they have called out.
Rather exciting really.
Been sleeping okay, energy is good. Now. Going to have to talk to the doctor about stronger pain meds for next time and maybe slow down the drip on the chemo to see if it decreases the side effects. Had a dream about being late for chemo and getting yelled at in a parking lot by a bus driver for parking in the wrong spot and chasing some cats behind shelves to take it's dress(?) off.
Yeah. Weird. And I didn't even take any vicodin! Maybe I should have.
Oh we discovered something really cool in storage. Years ago we bought a game that used playdoh and you had a stamp that made it in the shape of bugs. Well Devon was going through some of his stuff and found one of the sealed containers with the little bits of play doh in it. He opened it up and... it had grown crystals! White salt like crystals..but there were also long spine like crystals as well. I didn't have my camera with me dangit to take a picture and he totally forgot his phone takes photos so by the time the container got home the long spikey crystals were all broken and stuck to the side of the container. But it was like discovering something in King Tuts tomb! That container is almost 15 years old by the way. Geez. I looked it up on the internet and other people have reported the same thing with the salt crystals but the spikey ones were so weird!
We hung out for a coucple of hours yesterday, took some blank writing books over to Amber for Ava and visited for a bit (and also so Devon could pick up a mug he had left there). They're back to being brother and sister it looks like.. it was really strained last year but I knew it wouldn't last forever.
Okay going to check and see if my OS updated correctly last night and maybe update iTunes too. today is going to be another lazy day putzing around the apartment and maybe do some laundry.

Guess appearances really are deceiving in that case. ;-)
