I'm in trouble

Again.
::sigh::
Disability money came through... CONSIDERABLY less than I expected. Not full, not half but a third of a paycheck.. $153 to be exact. About $500 short of what I need for rent.
I hate this.
It feels like I'm never going to get ahead enough to not whimper at the thought of paying bills. I know that the next check will take care of June rent (at least that's what I'm hoping) and after that the money should come in on a schedule that will allow me to pay the rent and a few bills during the month.
For now though...
I have to break the news to Katie and start looking for things to sell fast. She has a book collection that's worth about $500 but only if we find the right buyer. I don't have anything worth that much except my car. Maybe I can get lucky and send out my book query this week and get an advance...yeah that's it!  And then I'll go find a barn and put on a show to raise money!
Or there is that standing on the corner with the sign.....
