Breathing easier,

Insurance check came, so no worries about money for a while. It was more than what the letter said so Katy and I are breathing a little easier now. Paying the hospital, the rest of rent, hope to get my car tags paid, and get some groceries stockpiled for my downtime at home. Was hoping to make a trip to Costco but I've got knitting tonight, then tomorrow night spend with another friend, and then Wednesday I'll be down for the count and out of commission for a few days. We'll do a Von's or other grocery run tonight after knitting.
(I have an idea for some earrings combining long bugle beads with smaller beads to match the blue necklace, I'll send the two pair that I've already made but might be able to make another pair also.)

I have three sets of paperwork to fill out, one for EDD/Disabililty, one from the IRS for deducting for back taxes, and another for the surgery. I forgot one though from the fabric store to the doctor dangit... I think it's still in my locker. Have to go get it tonight or see if I did bring it home and it's just buried somewhere.
IF I feel I have enough money to spare, I may be getting a new ipod. I was hoping that a miracle would occur and my old one would be okay after sitting for a while, but it's not. After sitting without being used for weeks, (actually been over a month)  the battery is dead and it still has a white screen. It was fully charged when I unplugged it before so not going to hold out for it anymore. Small hope there is someone out there that can change out the battery and screen for cheap, but still... better to have a new one with a camera.  :-( (It recognized the syncing and contacts and the alarm that was on it but the base where it's plugged in is really warm after being plugged in for maybe a minute...)
I'll look for a refurbished one or see what the same 'size' (8GB) mode is these days at Walmart.
Going to go get some breakfast right now, check my bank account and get off to work.
