5:45 AM check in... bleh.
I asked about the pill I'm taking at 8 am every morning but the nurse wasn't sure about whether to take it the night before or what... have to call my oncologist Monday morning and ask.
I am teaching a class on bonsai this morning, finally and I've forgotten everything I crammed for last week. Crammed a little this morning, so I think I have the important information lodged in my brain. Not like I'm going to be tested on this but if anyone from the local Bonsai society shows up, I'm screwed.
I'm pretty sure I've gained some weight since going back to work, been eating more fattening foods and sodas. Have to start adjusting my diet again and then I'm home recovering from surgery and that will help drop some weight also. My feet are feeling sore and bruised by the end of the day, even after standing for two hours. When I dropped a lot of weight they didn't hurt as much so I'm sure that's it. The neuropathy is also a factor but that's a different kind of pain.
I got word from my benefits person at the nursery that due to how much time off I've taken they can't cover me for work as I've used up all my FMLA time allowed in the last 12 month period. They're willing to work with me on a payment plan so I don't lose the insurance all together. The coverage will be the same, just have to pay a little more until I log enough full time hours to qualify again.
I'm also still waiting for that insurance check, copay for my surgery is $250 and I don't have that much in the bank now. I can pay a little on that if the check doesn't come by Tuesday but not the whole thing.
Olivia, your earrings are finished, just have to mail them.
I finished another ornament, yellow gold network with six strands of beaded tassel at the bottom. Need to get pictures of that before I take it to the fabric store for display to promote a class to make them in October. Hoping that generates interest in beading classes so my schedule will be full that month with a bit extra money.
Well, need to get some breakfast and a shower before heading off to work early today for the class.
