So forgot to post last night. Oh well.
See if there were interesting things happening in my life, I would want to jump on here as soon as possible to tell people about it. But my life is boring and the only people that really read this are some family and friends.
If by chance there are other people out there in the world that are actually reading this, it would be nice to hear from you.
So it rained a little finally, not enough to alleviate our horrific drought but at least it's water from the sky. Washed a few things off and cleared the air a bit.
I got all ready this morning and noticed it was cloudy but it wasn't rainy, so walked to the bus stop anyway then got a text from my manager just as I was calling to make sure. Don't have to be in until 11 instead of my normal time of 9. No biggie really, other than the lost hours. I will finish this post and then attempt to do my tax returns and see how much I'll be getting this year.
All sorts of plans hinge on that money coming in as well as my vacation money from work. I made last years money last from when I got it in February all the way to June. Want to see it stretch a bit further this year but we'll see.
I was looking at someone's blog that had pictures of flowers and scenes from their trip to Colorado from Texas. At the bottom of their blog was a similar sentiment that I have for this. Thank you for reading my ramblings so that I don't feel like I'm talking to myself. I will have to insert more pictures to make it interesting and worth people's time to read this.
I am still planning on making a trip up to Washington in May to visit a friend, it would be nice to see other friends along the way but don't know if I will have the money and time to extend my vacation. But then... two of my brothers are all in N. Ca and it would be nice to see them. Many plans need to be made maybe stop in SF for a bit and take a side trip. Who knows?
This is one of many stunning sunset shots from December. For three or four days, the view out the back of the nursery around 4:30 was incredible! The building in the distance is the former main post office. Well it's still the post office, but they are only using it as a distribution center for mail, it's no longer open for public mail transactions. There is a plaque on it marking the site as one of the landing spots for Lindbergh during his test flights of the Spirit of St. Louis. (I think).
That's pretty much all I need to say this time. Want to actually be productive in the small amount of time I have before catching the next bus for work.
