Phone interview went as well as could be expected

 Answered verifying questions but it was very difficult to tell the truth when asked 'what did you say that offended someone'. I said that I wanted to shoot someone, not meaning it at all and apologized to the room when I realized what I said. Finished it up and the woman said they will contact my employer to verify and they have 48 hours to answer the phone call. I gave her my HR manager's name as the person who fired me by phone. Technically it was Sam the ASM but was not going to let them talk to her, she would botch it up for sure.

So I got on the EDD website, filled out the certification forms for the two weeks, which I didn't know I had to do otherwise would have done it before the phone call. Now it's a wait to hear from them in two to three days. Hoping to get a positive answer, if not we are totally screwed. I have my retirement money coming next week but we can't live off that for very long and still need to fix my AC in the car... and maybe hope it hangs on for another nine months.

So that's my update personally.

I have started a garden blog and FB page called 'Greendini the Garden Guru', not looking for getting paid for it but just trying to keep my fingers in the garden knowledge base. Also planted a tomato and a jalapeno pepper plant in the community garden area of the complex. The area gets blasted with sun during the summer which is great. I had about two weeks in the middle of May of what I am calling spastic colon. It was enormously painful, didn't eat or poop for three days and it gradually eased up until now I'm just fine. I don't have medical coverage anymore and it was bad enough I didn't think I could sit long enough to drive to the urgent care (wherever the nearest one would be). So it has all passed....literally, but took a bit longer than textbook accounts said it would. But then I'm over 50 so not healing and doing things like that in the usual amount of time.
