Still holding out for getting a home in WA. Did some more digging about FHA/USDA and first time home buyer programs. Well we definitely qualify for low income and first time home buyer. So next is seeing if any of the homes I've saved on my searches are in a qualifying area. Bingo! Our favorite one plus a few other properties. Now in all realization that by the time we actually get to the point of getting a loan, these will not be on the market. There may be something as good though.
Taking into account of all costs and things, some mobile home parks would have a land lease of over $1000. That's not good.
Now, this is just a tiny tiny tiny spark of hope because we most definitely do not have the ability to move immediately and can only hope that in the next month my EDD might be restarted for whatever wishful thinking I might have. When Jon got his cut off notice he waited a month then got notification he could qualify again so I can only hope.
So... even if that happens we are still going to be well under the max income for two people to qualify. Definitely don't want to get into something like this with only his income even if we get a full down payment covered, he's not making enough to cover all expenses.
Anyway, just had to write this down as a good vibe.
In other things, yes, another painting finished and working on one from a picture I took in WA six years ago.

'Sycamore Grove' |
Still haven't settled on the name for this but that's the best I can do at this point. Might tweak it a bit more but I already cropped half the sky because it was out of proportion. 'Rule of thirds' is usual for paintings. First time I kept some railing in the picture too, kind of tricky to not smear it out of existence. Even as I'm looking at this I want to lighten the tree trunks and the path on the hill.
Let it go!
