Bought some Allegra for my allergy attacks and it worked famously well! Still working actually as it's 24 hour and I take it in the morning and lasts me all day. I woke up this morning with no issues in breathing, nose was fine so delayed taking all my pills until I had lunch. That was for two reasons, one was since I am taking two 400 mg alleve every day for my arthritis I have to take it with food. Well I've been skimping on the food lately and having maybe a pastry or an apple and then pounding down all my pills. The last three days my stomach has been complaining like acid reflux to the point that I took some baking soda in water two nights ago to alleviate it.
I'm fine now, had some cut up apple and a PB&J for breakfast went out on errands and picked up some burgers so ate all my lunch first then took my pills.
Today is also an interesting sideshow from the neighbors over the fence. Not the brightest people in the hood for sure. I didn't sleep well last night, fitful and odd dreams due to not being able to sleep deeply for whatever reason. (Another issue lately is insomnia...) So I finally woke up to the sound of rap music from the neighbor. He apparently has Pandora because his music started out with modern rap/hip hop, changed to something a bit more palatable with grunge rock or something Nirvana like, then dropped to 70's 60's rock then went back to rap. By that time we decided we needed to run some errands.
He apparently has the task of cleaning up their small backyard (with a trampoline in it) today. Which is now turning into a much bigger issue of, trimming back the tree (California pepper) raking everything and now has busted the thin rope that held one of their triangle shade cloth sails up.
Tool for cutting the tree was, a machete. no ladder tall enough so he somehow managed to climb onto the roof to get into the tree to trim some branches off the trunk. He and his buddy (who reminds me of Devon in beard, t shirt and beanie style) smoking and wandering around talking about options. I assume as much since I have the window closed and can't hear a thing with the fan going thankfully.
I don't think that yard has been rearranged since they bought the trampoline a year or so ago. It showed up at the first Christmas we were here. Kids have hardly used it since the pepper tree is constantly dropping leaves and stuff onto it. Again, not the brightest choice and placement but considering the depth of the yard is maybe twenty feet and length is about fifty. The tree has likely been there as long as the house and not much can be done, the building is a duplex so they rent.
Meanwhile back on my side of the fence. We have to figure out how we're going to pay the higher rent next month. It's going to take almost all of my check, oh which I got a separate COLA payment of a whopping $18, in the middle of the month. Mine started at 1017 and now is 1035, Jons is 1130 I think as his adjustment was already added in.
I keep wondering if we would be able to do an 'off grid' homestead lifestyle. Not out in the boonies of Alaska or anything but solar panels, well water or river, back up generator, don't know if we're ready to ditch having our shows to watch and the news for Jon to keep track of quite yet.
There are some mobile home parks in Oregon that are very affordable with new models that are also affordable. My credit continues to climb over the 700 mark now and we just need to get funding and show we have a steady income. I still need to contact SS directly about drawing on Dave's retirement SS. Must make reminder to call tomorrow, have to get on that. Forgot to get cash so I can buy some lottery tickets too. (joking)
My primary entertainment is still the computer and gardening now and looking at houses and locations. I would have more hobbies going if we had the room.

$57,500 3/2 Aberdeen, WA |
This is the latest find that is not too old (1980), lots of room, great backyard, lot lease is under $500. Back of home has a 'screened' porch, windows and looks like the owner loved houseplants.
So far so good right? Well downside is, no major shopping location bigger than a Safeway for an hours drive and that would be in Olympia. Aberdeen is the birthplace of Kurt Cobain fyi (just discovered that looking at the map) but anything else is an hour away in Olympia. Small town, small stores really close to the coast.

Aberdeen home to Olympia ~50 miles |
Like anything, the closer to a more metropolitan city, the more expensive. This is also an older home that may have some hidden issues. So I know now that Aberdeen may be nice for a small town but if we have to buy any large scale supplies, it's a lot of gas and time to get there and back again for Costco.
Scratch that one off the list. As I have said, when the time comes we will know where to go to look.
