Earnest start for the future

In an effort to start clearing out things that are taking up space and the need for starting a nest egg please go visit my Etsy shop. If you don't see something there you like, or something that you do like but need to change something a little, let me know what you might be looking for and will see what I can do. I can be an advisor on most things garden as most of you know. My skills in Blender are improving though that is another thing entirely due to it being electronic in nature. Although I might be able to create objects in that and export them if you have a 3D printer. I still have several paintings for sale over on Fine Art America but that is a very very slow process getting any money from that but if I sold those on my own on canvas or paper it would be incredibly expensive for a modest sized image.

All of that to say, we really are going to work on getting a little extra money here and there to save up. Neither of us have had any luck looking for even a part time job and, frankly, don't think we want to go back to that rat race.
We don't have much to sell in storage but we are going to be working on consolidating that down but given what is in both storages, consolidating will not reduce it to one.
I will be pulling stuff out that I think I can sell and take pictures, likely post on FB but not on the market there. That's scary.

With gas prices going up we can only afford one or two trips to storage a week. We will be reducing eating out to maybe once or twice a month hopefully. Really really hard to give that up when it's difficult to cook in the kitchen we have. Sacrifices must be made if we want to get a new place of our own.

Now this may likely fizzle out like my personal walking for exercise idea, but starting is better than not doing anything. The weather has cooled down considerably from last week so going to storage is easier. There really isn't much we can get rid of and Jon has tried to sell stuff on ebay before and it's a lot of work with no return. I still nudge once in a while about his jewelry but almost every single piece he has is dear to him. I have zip for jewelry since I've never had any money for it and made my own.

Dreaming of green trees and quiet water.
